• Be a citizen or hold refugee status in one of the eligible countries
• Be permanently living in an eligible Commonwealth country
• Hold an undergraduate degree with at least upper second class honors or a lower second class degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification
• Be available to start studies in the UK in September 2026
• Not have studied or worked for more than one academic year in a high income country
• Be unable to afford study in the UK without the scholarship
